Speech-Language Pathologist

Position Details
- Provide engaging, neurodiversity-affirming, and play-based speech and language therapy in our clinic space, in the community or in the family's home.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Support speech, language, communication, social communication, and AAC development
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, schools, and our multidisciplinary team
- Coach and educate families so strategies can carry over into everyday life
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in collaborative care
- Provide supervision and support to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants when appropriate
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Speech-Language Pathologist in good standing with ACSLPA
- Experience with children, or a solid interest in pediatric practice
- Knowledge of speech sound development, language development, social communication, and AAC
- Ability to provide evidence-informed, individualized, and family-centred care
- Strong communication, documentation, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to ethical practice, ongoing learning, and professional growth
Additional Assets
✨ Experience supporting a range of speech and language disorders, communication, AAC, and feeding needs
✨ Experience providing neurodiversity-affirming support to neurodivergent clients
✨ Bilingual or multilingual skills. Language diversity is a strength on our team.
