Overview

We are seeking a energetic and motivated Field Service Technician specializing in IT and Mechanical systems, with a focus on Point of Sale (POS) terminals and Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). In this role, you will be the frontline expert responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of hardware and mechanical components across diverse locations. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation of critical financial and retail equipment, delivering exceptional service and support to our clients. Duties

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot POS systems and ATMs to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hardware components, mechanical parts, and electrical systems.
- Use hand tools and schematics to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct inspections of mechanical assemblies and electrical connections to identify potential failures.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and system updates for compliance and future reference.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and provide clear guidance on system operation.




- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues related to computer networking and low voltage systems to restore full functionality swiftly.

Experience

- Proven experience working with computer hardware, networking, and mechanical systems in a technical service setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools for repairs or installations.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to POS terminals and ATMs.
- Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems including wiring standards for safe installation and maintenance.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation accurately and apply it effectively during troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
- Previous experience in maintenance or field service roles involving computer networking or electronic hardware is highly desirable.

Pay: $20.30-$22.00 per hour
