Location: Toronto, ON
Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid 2 days on-site, 3 days work from home (potential for 4 days on-site in the future)
Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 1 year (with possibility of extension based on business needs and performance; conversion to permanent also possible based on business needs and performance)
- Pay Rate: C$76.00 C$92.00 / Hour (CAD)
- Shift / Schedule: Monday Friday, core business hours 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day; opportunity for additional hours (must be approved in advance)

Job Summary
This is a senior-to-expert Identity & Access Management (IAM) Business Systems Analyst role supporting high-visibility IAM and security projects. The role places the strongest emphasis on authentication, MFA, federation/Entra ID, requirements analysis, and proven experience delivering security/IAM projects, rather than generic BSA experience. Key projects include MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) implementation, SSH key management implementation, and other smaller IAM/security initiatives. The candidate will work within a team of 27 people, primarily interacting with internal stakeholders, with minimal external interaction. The contractor will not have access to customer data. Approximately 4 hours per day on average are spent in meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements documentation
- Identifying business and technical use cases
- Developing and understanding test cases
- Understanding how different IAM services integrate and work together
- Applying strong knowledge of authentication, including modern authentication, federation, Entra ID, multi-factor authentication, and other authentication/access-management technologies
- Working within an Agile framework using Jira
- Managing timelines and enforcing delivery milestones in accordance with traditional SDLC/PDLC
Required Skills
- 10 years of Business Systems Analyst experience
- Very in-depth knowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM)
- Extensive hands-on experience with requirements documentation
- Extensive hands-on experience identifying business and technical use cases
- Extensive hands-on experience developing and understanding test cases
- Strong knowledge of authentication, including modern authentication, federation, Entra ID, multi-factor authentication, and other authentication/access-management technologies
- Understanding of how different IAM services integrate and work together
- Working knowledge of Agile and Jira
- Experience with traditional SDLC/PDLC, including managing timelines and enforcing delivery milestones
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented team player
- Enterprise-level environment experience banking or financial institution experience is preferred
Preferred Skills
- Agile or PM certifications (PM certification is preferred)
- Strong Agile experience
- Banking or financial institution enterprise-level setting experience
Education Requirements
- Post-secondary education is an asset
- Agile or PM certifications are an asset

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Hybrid work model: 2 days on-site, 3 days work from home per week, with potential for 4 days on-site in the future
- Anchor days are fairly flexible

- No rotation required
