Key Responsibilities

- Perform detailed residential cleaning according to company standards and client requirements.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, basements, and other designated areas.
- Dust furniture, surfaces, baseboards, doors, trim, and other areas as required.
- Vacuum and mop floors using appropriate cleaning methods and products.
- Clean kitchen surfaces, countertops, backsplashes, appliances, and cabinets as required.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Clean interior windows, window sills, screens, and coverings when included in the service.
- Move lightweight furniture and appliances when necessary to clean accessible areas.
- Follow proper top-to-bottom cleaning procedures to ensure consistent quality.
- Use cleaning products, equipment, and tools safely and according to company procedures.
- Follow the company's colour-coded cloth system and cleaning procedures.
- Identify areas requiring additional attention and communicate them to the team leader or management.
- Take required before-and-after or completion photos when requested.
- Maintain a professional appearance and respectful attitude while working in clients' homes.
- Protect clients' property and report any damage, breakage, or unusual conditions immediately.
- Follow company policies regarding punctuality, attendance, communication, safety,



and client privacy.
- Work efficiently as part of a cleaning team and assist with maintaining the company's quality standards.

Customer Service Expectations

The Residential Cleaning Specialist is expected to:

- Treat every client and their home with respect and professionalism.
- Communicate politely and professionally with clients and management.
- Respect client privacy and personal belongings.
- Never perform additional work outside the agreed scope without management approval.
- Bring any client concerns or special requests to management rather than making independent commitments.

Qualifications

- Previous residential cleaning or housekeeping experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in different residential environments.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and company cleaning standards.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation may be required depending on the position.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
