Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Pharmasave - Spadina's Neighbourhood Pharmacy. In this role, you will support our pharmacists in delivering high-quality care to our patients while ensuring the efficient operation of our busy pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing inventory.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address their inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information.
- Support medication administration processes as directed by pharmacists.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy.
- Participate in patient care initiatives and health promotion activities.
Requirements
- Experience or education in Kroll, Pharmaclik, and medical terminology is essential.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is required.
- Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is an asset.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
