Role Description

We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant for a full-time, on-site position located in Kelowna, BC. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing tax filings, processing payroll, and assisting with CRA Reviews. The accountant will also collaborate with clients to ensure compliance and provide tailored financial advice. Additional responsibilities include reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and staying updated on relevant accounting standards and practices.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting, Tax Preparation, and Tax Compliance




- Experience with Payroll Processing and Account Reconciliations is an asset
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar platforms, and advanced Excel skills
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills
- Understanding of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations
- CPA designation (or in progress) is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-4 years of professional accounting experience, ideally within a public accounting firm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
