Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selections, upselling specials and popular items to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Prepare and serve food according to safety standards, including proper handling, sanitation, and food industry regulations
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handle cash transactions accurately, and process payments using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations in compliance with sanitation guidelines
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables while providing attentive customer service




- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cash handling
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, change calculation, and order totals
- Experience in serving or cashier roles demonstrating efficiency in multitasking and upselling techniques
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus for supporting team operations during peak hours

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
