Mechanical Engineer

Location: Mississauga, ON

Salary: $45,000–$55,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems, manufacturing equipment, and production processes.

This is an excellent prospect for an engineer with strong mechanical knowledge who enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and supporting innovative system design and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
- Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and drafting documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop mechanical and system designs that meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Provide mechanical engineering support for CNC machinery, manufacturing equipment, and system integration.
- Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and validation of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Apply knowledge of fluid mechanics and fluid system design to engineering projects.
- Support reverse engineering activities and develop accurate technical documentation.
- Assist in improving manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and mechanical system efficiency.




- Ensure designs and documentation comply with applicable engineering and drafting standards.
- Support manufacturing and production teams with technical guidance as required.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and industrial applications.
- Proven experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
- Experience creating technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, CNC machining, and mechanical system design.
- Knowledge of fluid mechanics and fluid system design.
- Experience with reverse engineering is an asset.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, LabVIEW, or other engineering analysis tools is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
