At Pathways to Healing & Trauma Therapy, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker to join our team as an Independent Contractor. We provide trauma-informed services to adults (18+) across Ontario, with a special focus on supporting newcomers and immigrant communities.

We are looking for a therapist who is qualified or in the process of qualifying, and who is able to work effectively with clients experiencing trauma related to migration, displacement, acculturation stress, and other challenges. The ability to provide sessions in both Arabic and English is required.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Master’s-level education in a related field
- Registration with CRPO or OCSWSSW
- Ability to provide therapy in Arabic and English
- Trauma-related experience working with diverse populations
- A compassionate presence and the ability to support clients through emotional pain
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice
- Reliable access to high-speed internet, technology,



and a private workspace suitable for confidential virtual sessions
- Experience with electronic medical record systems or strong computer proficiency
- High degree of professionalism, reliability, and ethical practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide evening and/or weekend sessions is an asset
- Training and experience in EMDR, IFS, Somatic Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, CBT, DBT, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) is an asset
