Starting as soon as possible we require a class 1A driver for deliveries within the City of Regina. City Tractor-Trailer experience is essential. Daily hours will vary, but the driver will be home every night. Depending on business needs may be required to drive 5 ton on some days.

Hourly wage: $23/hr

Full perks after 6 months of work - premium fully paid by the company.

Responsibilities:
-Pick up and delivery of various goods within the city and surrounding areas in a timely and professional manner
-Assist with loading & unloading
-Fill out necessary documents
-Perform pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment - oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, perform brake adjustments
-Plan travel schedules & routes
-Receive and relay information to central dispatcher
-Transport hazardous products and/or dangerous goods
-Adhere to company safety policies

Qualifications:
-Saskatchewan Class 1A license & clean drivers abstract (We are not LMO certified)




-Currently reside in Saskatchewan
-Customer service skills
-Good work attitude & willingness to learn
-Team player
-Strong command of the English language
-Ability to lift up to 23kg (50 lbs.)
-Understanding of the following:
- Driver logbooks/bills of lading
- Dangerous goods occurrence reports
- Inspection reports
- Maintenance & repair reports
- Trip reports/accident reports
