- Diagnose and repair transport climate control equipment (truck, trailer, rail container)
- Complete pre trip inspections in accordance with customers' specific requirements
- Provide estimates on repairs
- Perform work in shop or independently from mobile service truck (road pay premiums apply)
- Participate in manufacturers' training in order to remain up to date on new Thermo King equipment
- Communicate information regarding equipment availability and status to the customer at various levels (fleet manager, driver, dispatch)
- Part of after-hours on call rotation for emergency service & breakdowns (pay premium applies)
Requirements:
- Education: Experience in mechanical field or refrigeration
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Strong language skills, oral and written
- Ability to prioritize customers' requests
- Must be organized and able to multitask at all times
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
