Responsibilities
- Prepare products for shipment by carefully packing items using appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and finished goods within the facility
- Assemble components or products as needed, following detailed instructions and quality standards
- Conduct quality checks on packed items to ensure accuracy and completeness before dispatch
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency throughout the warehouse
- Assist with inventory management by labeling, sorting, and documenting shipments accurately
- Use hand tools for minor assembly or adjustments when required,
adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
- Proficiency in operating forklifts with valid certification preferred
- Strong assembly skills with attention to detail and quality standards
- Familiarity with packaging materials, techniques, and best practices for shipping products
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely for assembly or repairs
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
