Position Summary Our growing firm is looking to add a key member to our team. As a Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the engagement, from planning to completion.

Role And Responsibilities Manage compilation and review engagements, reporting under CSRS 4200 and CSRE 2400, including initial review

Perform initial review of tax compliance filings (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T5013, T5018, GST, etc.)

Conduct tax research projects on various issues (tax planning opportunities, tax minimization strategies, compliance issues, corporate restructuring, etc.)

Liaise with Canada Revenue Agency





Provide coaching to junior team members as well as timely constructive feedback

Responsible for engagement budgeting and allocation

Monitor engagement progress against budgets and timelines

Develop and maintain trusted client relationships including responding to client questions and inquiries

Contribute to development of current ideas and approaches to improve work processes while working directly with partners

Skills & Qualifications Completion of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation

1-3 years post designation of relevant work experience in public accounting

Minimum 2 years review of compilation and review engagements, including tax compliance (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T5013, T5018, GST, etc.)

Broad exposure and extensive knowledge of relevant Canadian tax legislation and corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance

Extensive knowledge of ASPE

Dedication to proactive thinking, integrity, precision execution and providing value-focused service

Experience with accounting and tax software such as CaseWare, TaxCycle, Blue J and QuickBooks
