This is a part-time position that requires evening hours and will also include on-call and holiday/time off coverage. Duties will include but are not limited to scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and collecting payments. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Duties
- Provide friendly, outgoing, quality customer service to patients.
- Schedule appointments for clients.
- Manage incoming calls and address inquiries.
- Submit claims to extended health plans and collect funds using POS machine.
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills, friendly, outgoing,
with strong initiative and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Experience in an administrative or customer service role.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and standard office software applications.
- Familiarity with extended health portals is beneficial but not necessary.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a quick-paced environment.
