Apprentice Carpenter – Residential Renovations

Want to become a well-rounded carpenter instead of doing the same task every day?

CADO Developments is looking to add another Apprentice Carpenter to our growing residential renovation team.

We specialize in high-quality residential renovations, additions and major home transformations in Lethbridge and the surrounding area. Our projects range from kitchens and basements to large additions and complete home renovations.

For an apprentice, that means you get exposure to a lot more than one area of construction.

What You'll Learn & Do:

Working alongside experienced carpenters and our project management team, you'll gain hands-on experience with:

- Demolition and preparation
- Structural renovations and modifications
- Framing
- Insulation, vapour barrier and air sealing
- Windows and doors
- Exterior and interior carpentry
- Cabinets and millwork
- Interior doors, trim and finishing
- Reading plans and drawings
- Problem solving in existing homes
- Working with different trades throughout the construction process
- Taking a renovation from demolition through to completion

Previous construction experience is an asset, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are extremely important to us.

Applicants should be registered—or willing to register—in Alberta's carpenter apprenticeship program and have a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
