Responsibilities

- Assist senior carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support project planning
- Support concrete forming and finishing tasks to ensure structural integrity and quality standards
- Help with drywall installation, siding application, and restoration projects to enhance building aesthetics and durability
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely under supervision for tasks such as lifting heavy materials or preparing sites




- Participate in safety training sessions and adhere strictly to safety protocols on all job sites
- Perform general labor duties including heavy lifting, site cleanup, material handling, and equipment maintenance

Requirements

- Strong interest in carpentry, construction, or related trades with a desire to learn and grow professionally
- Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking techniques is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Willingness to follow detailed instructions from experienced team members
- Positive communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Prior construction experience or related technical training is advantageous but not required
- Valid driver’s license may be preferred for site access and equipment operation opportunities
