Saanich Plumbing & Heating is seeking a motivated Plumber Apprentice to join our residential and commercial plumbing team. The successful candidate will assist Journeyperson Plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, fixtures, and related equipment throughout Prince Rupert.

Key Duties

- Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Measure, cut, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools
- Support installation of water heaters, boilers, and related equipment
- Follow manufacturer installation instructions and BC plumbing codes
- Perform basic troubleshooting under supervision
- Maintain safe work practices and clean work areas
- Work under the direction of Journeyperson Plumbers
- Perform general labour tasks as required

Requirements

- Registered Plumber Apprentice with BC Trades
- Experience of 1 year




- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings
- Physically able to lift, carry, and work in varied environments
- Valid driver’s licence an asset
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Commitment to safety and apprenticeship progression

Job Types: Full time, Apprenticeship Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
