Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care - Mississauga

Join one of Ontario's leading long-term care organizations and make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse leader to support clinical excellence, quality care, and team development within our Mississauga long-term care home.

Key Responsibilities





- Support the Director of Resident Care in delivering high-quality, resident-centred nursing care.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to nursing staff.
- Oversee resident care, family communication, and clinical outcomes on assigned units.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, including RAI-MDS, Infection Prevention & Control, Health & Safety, and restorative care programs.
- Ensure compliance with long-term care legislation, policies, and professional standards.
- Coordinate staff education, orientation, and ongoing professional development.
- Support scheduling, resource management, and departmental operations.
- Act as designate for the Director of Resident Care when required.

Qualifications

- Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum 4 years of nursing experience, including Long-Term Care, Geriatrics, or Rehabilitation.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, preferably long-term care.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Chinese language skills (Cantonese or Mandarin) are an asset.
- Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
