Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat clients with hearing concerns, fitting and adjusting hearing devices to meet individual needs. Your expertise will help our clients hear better and live better through compassionate care and advanced hearing solutions.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics when applicable
- Fit, program, and adjust hearing instruments to optimize performance for each client
- Educate patients on device usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with medical professionals when necessary to address complex cases involving medical terminology or underlying health issues
- Document patient evaluations, treatment plans,
and device adjustments accurately in electronic health records
- Provide follow-up care and support to ensure ongoing satisfaction and optimal hearing outcomes
- Stay current with advancements in audiology technology and best practices to enhance service quality
Skills
- Robust understanding of pediatric audiology and experience working with children is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and support clients of all ages
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to audiology and hearing health
- Ability to perform detailed assessments and precise device programming
- Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
