Exciting Opportunity for an Auto Road Insurance Agent

Location: Downtown Prince George, 901 Victoria St. Prince George, BC, V2L 2K9

Job Summary

Johnston Meier Insurance has a position available in our Downtown Prince George office for a Licensed Auto Insurance Road Agent. If you have a vehicle, General Insurance Level 1 General Insurance License, at least six months of ICBC Autoplan experience and are willing to learn and work towards achieving a Level 2 General Insurance license, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
- Build customer portfolios
- Provide optional coverage quotes
- Cross-sell other JMI Insurance products
- Keep detailed notes on our computer system at all times (Paperless Environment)
- Follow company procedures as provided

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

- Level 1 General Insurance Salesperson License
- Six months of ICBC Autoplan experience
- Completed ICBC “Autoplan Basics for Brokers” Program
- Good understanding and ability to navigate in ICBC “Broker Connect” and “Policy Center”
- Willing to work towards achieving a Level 2 General Insurance license
- Strong communication skills to apply to underwriters, customers, and team members
- Strong organizational,



time management, and interpersonal skills
- Valuable verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service
- Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
- Minimum basic computer skills
- Requires a vehicle and a valid BC driver’s license

*Competitive salaries are evaluated based on the employee's education, skill set, license level, experience and hours worked. Scale above is based on full-time hours and is subject to change.
