Job Overview

Delia Mamann Interiors is a Toronto interior design studio specializing in high-end residential renovations. We're seeking an experienced freelance AutoCAD Technician to support us on a current renovation project. You'll work directly with the principal designer to turn design concepts into accurate, buildable drawings, from site measure to a complete drawing package.

This short-term engagement is well suited to a reliable, responsive professional who works quickly and holds a high standard for detail.

Duties

- Attend site measures and produce accurate existing-conditions drawings
- Draft floor plans, furniture layouts, electrical and lighting plans, and reflected ceiling plans (RCPs)
- Develop interior elevations and detailed millwork drawings for kitchens, vanities, built-ins, and closets
- Prepare 2D renderings for client presentations
- Assemble, organize, and manage the complete design drawing package
- Incorporate redlines and revisions promptly and accurately




- Keep drawing files organized and clearly versioned so the current set is never in question

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, with proven experience in residential interior design
- Demonstrated experience producing interior elevations and millwork details
- Experience managing large, multi-sheet drawing packages
- Ability to produce clean, presentation-quality 2D renderings
- Your own computer and licensed software
- Availability for site measures in the Toronto area
- Reliable, responsive, and able to work quickly and meet tight deadlines
- A portfolio of residential work, including millwork drawings

This is a short-term contract, paid hourly. You're welcome to work from our office or remotely.
