WICO Design and Construction Management Ltd. is design, construction, and project management firm that specializes in commercial and residential projects.

WICO is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, multitasking person to join our team in the role of AutoCAD Draftsperson/Estimator.

*Please note that the successful applicant must live in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.

Duties

· Drafting experience with AutoCAD

· Ability to put together material estimates for construction projects

· Ability to work on floorplan designs

· Track projects and progress reports / aptitude to learn project management

· Creating and working on job estimates

· Source products and materials

· Ability to work under deadlines

· Ability to read blueprints

· Interact with suppliers and contractors

· Maintain relationships with clients and government offices





· Computer Hardware and Software troubleshooting, computer file back up

· Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Photoshop

Full time hours (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm.

Salary position ($20.00 per hour) with health benefits and vacation/personal days available after probationary period (3 month) ends.
