Responsibilities
Assist senior technicians with diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
Support the disassembly and assembly of vehicle components, ensuring proper use of mechanical knowledge and technical diagrams.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections with attention to detail.
Participate in welding projects and other specialized repairs that require precision and safety awareness.
Handle heavy lifting safely when moving parts or equipment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair statuses clearly and professionally.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in automotive technology is a plus.
Dealership experience or familiarity with automotive repair processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
Basic mechanical knowledge with an eagerness to learn new skills on the job.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and assembly techniques.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work shifts.
Robust attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude toward learning.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
