We are looking for Canada-based consultants and applicants with deep Azure Integration Services experience in healthcare and clinical environments.

MUST-HAVES

- 5+ years of IM/IT experience - 5+ years of C# / .NET development
- 3+ years building integrations with Azure Integration Services: Logic Apps, Functions, App Services, Service Bus, API Management, Containers, AKS, and the On-premises Data Gateway
- Degree in Computer Science or IT preferred (an equivalent mix of education and experience is considered)
- Excellent written and spoken English

STRONG ASSETS (project references will be requested)

- 3+ years of AIS solution delivery, including Event Grid, data validation (XSD or custom code), data transformation (XSLT, Liquid, Logic Apps Data Mapper), and patterns such as Pub/Sub, Request/Response, and ordered delivery
- Azure DevOps CI/CD with ARM or Bicep, promoting releases across Dev, Test, and Prod (2 projects)
- Scalable, fault-tolerant design: elastic scale, multi-geo deployment, throttling, and large-message handling
- High-volume, large-message processing (HL7, EDI)
- Hybrid integration with on-premises databases and network shares (Data Gateway, ExpressRoute); multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, OCI) is a plus
- Secure integrations:



service-to-service security, secrets management, and privacy compliance reviews (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
- End-to-end monitoring and diagnostics frameworks for AIS
- HL7 v2.x and/or FHIR solutions, with vendor systems named (2 projects; Azure preferred) - Azure technical design documents covering architecture, service communication, security, and data, including their review and approval
