About bread + butter bread + butter is a neighbourhood bakery in Riverdale, in the Umphreville Block on 90 Street. We make small-batch breads, flavoured butters and signature pastries. The shop is open Thursday to Sunday, 9am to 2pm, and our bread and pastry are also on the counter at Little Brick and Dogpatch.

The job

- Mix, shape and bake bread and pastry to our recipes.
- Work through the daily production list for the shop and our other locations.
- Keep your bench, ovens and tools clean as you go.
- Label, date and rotate. First in, first out.
- Help receive deliveries and keep storage in order.

Schedule Full time. Early mornings, weekends included. You will see Riverdale before most of Riverdale does.

What we are looking for

- Bakery or pastry experience. Bread and laminated dough experience is a bonus.
- Happy with early starts and a day on your feet.
- Tidy, consistent, and you care about the details.
- Food safety training, or willing to complete it.
- Available weekends.

What you get

- $16.00 to $20.00 an hour, depending on experience.
- Full-time hours with your afternoons free.
