About Bake With Pookie

Bake With Pookie is a custom cake studio and café in Roncesvalles, Toronto. Our decorators create one-of-a-kind celebration cakes every week, and we're hiring urgently for a reliable Bakery Helper and Dishwasher to keep our kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you'll do

- Wash dishes, baking trays, mixing bowls, piping tools, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly throughout the shift
- Support our cake decorators by keeping their stations clean, stocked, and ready to go
- Clean, sanitize, and organize the kitchen to keep the workflow productive during busy periods
- Restock ingredients, packaging, and supplies, and put away deliveries
- Help with general bakery operations and other tasks as needed
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times

What we're looking for





- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Able to lift 35–50 lbs during restocking and other bakery operations
- Able to stand and stay on your feet for the full shift
- Fast, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping things clean
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
- Dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset
- Driver's licence is a plus (not required)

Schedule

- Part-time
- Must be available Thursday to Sunday

Pay

- $18.00 per hour
