Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Manager to oversee daily operations in our vibrant café/ Art Studio environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to inspire and manage a diverse team. This role requires a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service, and the ability to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.

- Manage food preparation, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.

- Oversee cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records using POS systems, including Micros POS.

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

- Implement effective inventory management practices to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café/art studio, including kitchen areas and dining spaces.





- Collaborate with the team to create cutting-edge menu items that reflect current trends in the food industry.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.

- Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills.

- Knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and kitchen operations.

- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.

- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Square POS preferred).

- Ability to lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership qualities in a fast-paced environment.

- Previous experience as a barista.
