Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to by following proper food handling procedures
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling pastries or snacks to complement beverages
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests, taking orders,
and addressing inquiries promptly
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service experience preferred; a passion for coffee is a plus!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
- Robust time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to connect with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
