Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and soft drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests using POS (Point of Sale) system ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide friendly, attentive service to all guests, addressing their needs promptly and professionally to enhance their overall experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties like processing payments and giving change while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area, dining space, and kitchen stations following food safety regulations.
- Assist in food preparation or setup when needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks.
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while promoting specials or new offerings to guests.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods by prioritizing tasks such as serving multiple tables or bar orders efficiently.




- Follow all sanitation guidelines related to food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction at all times.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a solid understanding of hospitality principles.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions.
- Robust time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously without compromising service quality.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, bill splitting, and transaction processing.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus for supporting overall restaurant flow.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience while increasing sales.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings within the food industry.
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities during busy hours while maintaining a positive attitude.
