About the Position

Coast is looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Bartender to join its restaurant and hospitality team. The successful candidate will prepare and serve beverages, provide excellent customer service, handle transactions, and maintain a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to orders.
- Take drink and food orders accurately and efficiently.
- Recommend beverages and answer customer questions about menu items.
- Operate the POS system and process cash, debit, and credit payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.
- Restock beverages, glassware, ice, garnishes, and other supplies.
- Check customer identification when required and follow responsible alcohol-service practices.
- Monitor customer needs throughout their visit and provide prompt service.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and help resolve service issues.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing,



and cleaning duties.
- Support the restaurant team during busy shifts and special events.

Qualifications

- Previous bartending or restaurant experience is an asset.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and bar service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Responsible alcohol-service certification is an asset where required.

Pay: $18.00-$27.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.0 per week
