Responsibilities
- Take and serve drink orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery and presentation that exceeds guest expectations
- Provide attentive table service, including food delivery, refills, and addressing guest needs promptly
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as POS Bank to process orders, payments, and cash handling efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change or bills
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying guest age and monitoring consumption to promote safety
- Assist in setting up the bar and dining areas before shifts and restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, with a strong foundation in customer service and hospitality
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables or drink orders efficiently during busy hours
- Strong communication skills to engage positively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for cashiering, making change, and processing payments accurately
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tasks, and maintain a lively energy throughout shifts
