Shells Beauty Bar is a growing boutique beauty studio in London, Ontario, focused on providing high-quality beauty services in a welcoming, professional, and detail-oriented environment.

We are looking for a talented and dependable Beauty Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. We are especially interested in applicants with experience in lash extensions, lash lifts and tints, brow services, and/or spray tanning.

The ideal candidate is passionate about the beauty industry, takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and genuinely enjoys creating an exceptional experience for every client. We are looking for someone who is professional, friendly, reliable, and interested in growing with the studio.

Responsibilities

- Perform professional beauty services based on your training and certifications, which may include:
- Classic, hybrid, and volume lash extensions
- Lash fills and mini fills
- Lash lifts and tints
- Brow laminations
- Brow waxing and tinting
- Custom spray tanning
- Provide consistently high-quality services with strong attention to detail.
- Conduct client consultations and help clients select services that best suit their desired results.
- Create a welcoming, comfortable, and professional client experience from beginning to end.
- Maintain proper sanitation, disinfection, hygiene, and workspace cleanliness between every appointment.
- Follow all studio procedures and beauty-industry health and safety standards.




- Educate clients on appropriate aftercare and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate client notes and service information when required.
- Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled appointments.
- Help build strong client relationships and encourage repeat bookings.
- Recommend additional services or retail products when appropriate without creating a high-pressure sales workplace.
- Maintain a polished and qualified appearance while representing Shells Beauty Bar.
- Assist with maintaining the overall appearance and organization of the studio.
- Communicate professionally with clients and the studio owner regarding bookings, scheduling, or client concerns.

Requirements

- Certification or professional training in at least one of the following:
- Lash extensions
- Lash lifts/tints
- Brow services
- Spray tanning
- Previous professional beauty-service experience is strongly preferred.
- A portfolio or photos of previous work are highly encouraged.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
- Strong understanding of sanitation, hygiene, and infection-control practices.
- Friendly, confident, and professional communication skills.
- Robust customer-service skills and ability to make clients feel comfortable.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to manage appointments independently.




- Ability to work in a boutique studio environment and contribute positively to the team.
- Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continue developing your skills.
- Availability for some evenings and/or weekends is an asset.
