About Us

Rafiki is dedicated to empowering students through our specialized literacy and math programs. We support a diverse student body—including native French speakers, French immersion students, and young beginners eager to learn French. We tailor our groups to meet students at their specific learning levels, spanning from Grade 1 to Grade 12.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking passionate, dedicated, and bilingual Teachers and Tutors to join our team at the Rafiki Centre. In this role, you will lead engaging literacy and math sessions designed to build academic confidence and foundational skills.

Depending on student registration groups, your focus may include supporting native French speakers, guiding French immersion learners, or introducing children to the French language.

Note: As our program grows and registrations increase, additional working hours may become available.

Qualifications

- Language:



Full professional proficiency in both French and English (ability to teach core subjects in French is required).
- Background: Must be a certified teacher OR possess solid, demonstrable experience in tutoring or working with children/youth in an educational setting.
- Ages & Grades: Comfortable working with students ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 12.
- Requirements: Must provide a recent Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) background check prior to commencing employment.
