We are a boutique bookkeeping firm in downtown Vancouver serving medical and dental practices, clinics and owner-managed BC corporations. We are looking for a bookkeeper to join our small team and work across several client files.

This role suits an experienced bookkeeper who knows the work, wants variety across different businesses, and is ready to grow into carrying a full portfolio of clients.

What you will do

- Record transactions, code expenses and maintain general ledgers across multiple client files
- Bank and credit card reconciliations, tied out to the penny
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Payroll processing and remittances
- GST, PST and WCB filings
- Month-end close, with working papers prepared for review
- Keep client documentation organized and deadlines on track

What we are looking for

- At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience in Canada, working across more than one set of books
- Solid working experience in QuickBooks Online, Sage 50 or both
- Solid Excel skills
- Accuracy above speed: you check your own work and you find out why something does not reconcile instead of forcing it
- Clear written and spoken communication, and quick responses during the working day




- Able to work in office in downtown Vancouver

Hands-on GST and PST experience is an asset, as is a bookkeeping diploma or designation. Experience with dental or medical clients is a bonus. What you get working with us
