Pour it, post it, sell it. Help put the Island's boldest craft whisky on every shelf from Victoria to Campbell River.

WHO WE ARE

Macaloney's is a craft single malt distillery in Victoria, BC. We build on Scottish roots with Canadian innovation, and we have the hardware to prove it: Triple Take was named World's Best Pot Still at the World Whiskies Awards. New ownership has rebuilt the business over the past year.

We have a new Distillery Bar, current tours, a members club, a lineup led by our honey whisky Buzz Cut, and shelf space at YVR duty free. We're a PGA sponsor and one of the fastest growing Canadian craft spirits brands on social media. The team is small, the energy is big, and we're just getting started.

THE ROLE

We want someone who lights up a room and wants to help build a brand from the ground floor. You'll be the face of Macaloney's across Vancouver Island. You'll be in liquor stores, at events, behind the tasting table and on our social channels.

You'll work hand in hand with Storied Wines & Spirits, our trade agency partner. Storied opens the doors with liquor stores and bars. Your job is to make sure the staff love our whisky, customers taste it, and it moves off the shelf. Together you'll build our reputation one store at a time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Run in store tastings at liquor stores across the Island, including weekends and evenings
- Train store staff so they know our lineup and recommend it with confidence
- Partner with Storied on account visits, new listings, shelf placement and follow up
- Work special events, festivals, markets and private tastings, and jump in at the Distillery Bar when it's busy
- Create content wherever you are: short video,



stories and photos from tastings and events for Instagram and TikTok
- Sign people up to Friends of Macaloney's, our members club, at every tasting and event
- Use our apps to log visits, track what's selling and report back
- Bring ideas, like new formats, local creator collabs, or anything else that gets people talking

WHAT YOU BRING

- Big energy. You're outgoing, confident and happy to start a conversation with anyone
- Real curiosity about whisky and cocktails. We'll teach you the rest
- You're social media native. You know what makes a good reel and you're comfortable on camera
- You're comfortable with tech and pick up new apps fast
- Experience in hospitality, bartending, retail, events or sales is a plus, not a requirement
- You're reliable and you show up when you say you will
- Serving It Right certification, or you'll get it before your first shift
- Valid BC driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
- You can lift cases up to about 18 kg (40 lbs)
- You're 19+ and legally able to work in Canada

COMPENSATION

- CA$21 per hour to start, plus a bonus on store sell through in your territory
- Monthly phone stipend, because your phone is half the job
- Mileage reimbursement
- Staff discount, a flexible schedule and company events
- Equity through our ESOP once you hit 12 months (see below)

GROW WITH US We believe in rewarding people who stick around and deliver. Every six months you'll sit down with leadership for a review.



Hit your milestones and you get a raise and a step up:

- 6 months: Brand Ambassador II, pay increase, and we pay for your WSET spirits certification
- 12 months: Senior Brand Ambassador, pay increase, bigger bonus, and your ESOP grant. Your equity vests over time, starting with a cliff. You also get your own custom label Macaloney's release, 30 bottles with your name on them to share with friends and family
- 18 months: Lead Brand Ambassador, pay increase, and you run our Island events and help train new ambassadors
- 24 months: Territory Manager, Vancouver Island, a salaried role with bonus
