Responsibilities

- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Operate power tools such as trowels, mixers, and saws safely and efficiently to complete masonry tasks
- Use hand tools including hammers, chisels, levels, and mortar boards to achieve accurate results
- Assist with renovation and restoration projects by repairing existing structures and matching new work with old
- Mix mortar and other materials accurately to ensure strong adhesion and durability




- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety standards on-siteRequirements
- Proven experience in construction or masonry work with a focus on bricklaying or similar trades
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate execution of projects
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to masonry tasks
- Knowledge of renovation techniques and restoration processes for historic or damaged structures
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
