Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Broadcast Engineer to join our innovative media team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our broadcast systems to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality content across multiple platforms. Your expertise will help us deliver engaging programming with precision and reliability, supporting our mission to inform, entertain, and inspire audiences worldwide.

Responsibilities

- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot broadcast equipment including video servers, switchers, encoders, and audio consoles to ensure uninterrupted transmission.
- Maintain and update broadcast infrastructure, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally and comply with industry standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to set up live broadcasts, pre-recorded segments, and special events with technical precision.
- Conduct routine inspections of broadcast hardware and software, performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Manage digital media assets using editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools for content preparation.




- Implement quality control procedures to verify audio-visual quality before transmission or publication.
- Stay current with emerging broadcast technologies and recommend upgrades or new solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in broadcast engineering or a related field within media production environments.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of broadcast hardware components such as video switchers, encoders/decoders, audio mixers, and servers.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues under pressure.
- Knowledge of digital media workflows and content management systems.
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings or weekends as needed for live broadcasts or special events.
- Relevant certifications or training in broadcast technology are a plus.

Pay: $150,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
