Position Overview

Minogi Corp. is seeking a collaborative, relationship-focused professional to help advance Indigenous participation in some of Ontario's most significant energy, infrastructure, and economic development opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, coordinating initiatives, and helping turn ideas into meaningful partnerships and projects. You may come from a background in business development, sales, marketing, communications, stakeholder engagement, economic development, government relations, project coordination, utilities, infrastructure, or clean energy.

Working across Ontario's rapidly evolving energy economy, you will help support strategic partnerships, investment opportunities, and economic development initiatives that create long-term benefits for Indigenous Nations and communities.

Minogi is the economic development and investment company of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation.

Through strategic investments, partnerships, and project development, Minogi works to advance Indigenous participation in Ontario's growing energy and infrastructure sectors. Our portfolio includes opportunities in electricity transmission, battery storage, nuclear energy, renewable natural gas, transportation electrification, environmental stewardship, and emerging clean energy technologies.

What You'll Do

Partnership & Stakeholder Development

- Build and maintain relationships with Indigenous Nations, governments, utilities, developers, investors, educational institutions, and industry organizations.
- Support partnership discussions, engagement activities, and relationship management initiatives.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, presentations, and stakeholder events.
- Help prepare partnership agreements, memoranda of understanding, and collaboration frameworks.
- Maintain stakeholder and partnership tracking systems.

Business Development & Opportunity Identification
- Research emerging opportunities in clean energy, infrastructure, economic development, and investment.
- Monitor funding programs, grants, and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Support business development initiatives and commercial opportunity assessments.
- Assist with market research, competitor reviews, and background analysis.





Project & Initiative Coordination
- Coordinate project activities, schedules, meetings, and follow-up actions.
- Assist with reports, briefings, presentations, and proposal development.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder commitments.
- Support leadership in advancing key strategic initiatives.

Industry & Community Engagement
- Represent Minogi at conferences, industry events, networking activities, and community meetings.
- Build relationships with partners across Ontario's energy, infrastructure, and economic development sectors.
- Support outreach and engagement activities that advance Indigenous participation in major projects.

Qualifications We recognize that valuable experience can be gained through many different paths.

You may have experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Business development
- Sales and account management
- Marketing and communications
- Stakeholder or community engagement
- Government relations
- Economic development
- Project coordination
- Utilities, infrastructure, energy, environmental, or consulting sectors

Additional qualifications include:
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, economics, political science, public administration, environmental studies, energy, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with Ontario's electricity, infrastructure, clean energy, or economic development sectors is considered an asset.
- Experience working with CRM systems, stakeholder management tools,



or project tracking systems is considered an asset.

- Competitive salary of $80,000-$100,000 annually
