Position Overview

We are seeking a Business / Product Analyst (Sell-Side) to support the analysis, definition, and execution of product initiatives for a Digital Integration Hub (DIH) , a centralized integration platform supporting Trading and Asset Services.

This role will support the product vision and strategy by gathering and analyzing customer requirements, translating business needs into actionable product initiatives, and partnering closely with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Professional Services, Marketing, and Support to deliver successful product releases.

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of business, product, technical, and financial markets knowledge , with a solid understanding of the sell-side trading and investment lifecycle. The candidate should be comfortable assessing market needs, understanding client challenges, defining innovative solutions, and translating complex business requirements into clear development objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the product line strategy and ensure product capabilities align with overall business objectives.
- Translate strategic business goals into clearly defined product development initiatives.
- Break down product initiatives into manageable work efforts for development teams.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Software Engineers, QA teams, and Scrum Masters throughout the product lifecycle.




- Define requirements and success criteria that enable development teams to deliver high-quality product capabilities.
- Drive initiatives that expand adoption and utilization of product integrations.
- Prepare detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process documentation, and user interface guides .
- Define the scope and coordinate ongoing maintenance of standard DIH Connectors .
- Build strong relationships with clients and business-line solution leaders to understand needs and validate proposed product enhancements.
- Engage stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and support effective decision-making.
- Monitor industry trends and developments relevant to trading, asset servicing, and financial technology.
- Research, evaluate, and validate potential current product features and capabilities.
- Develop subject-matter expertise in assigned product and business areas.
- Provide input into product roadmaps for specific client segments and use cases.
- Support the Product Owner with product and release backlog prioritization .
- Assist with the development and maintenance of product documentation, training materials, and release notes .
- Gather, analyze, document, and prioritize new product features and enhancement requests.
- Provide regular status updates and communicate progress on product development initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.




- Strong understanding of the roles and responsibilities of key sell-side participants , including:
- Brokers
- Dealers
- Prime Services
- Retail Clients
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end trading and investment lifecycle , including core transactional processes such as corporate actions .
- Broad knowledge of major asset classes across both listed/exchange-traded and over-the-counter (OTC) markets , including:
- Derivatives
- Private Equity
- Private Debt
- Understanding of common trading, settlement, and financing methods, including:
- Delivery versus Payment (DvP)
- Free of Payment/Cash Transfers
- Repurchase Agreements (Repos)
- Securities Finance
- Collateral Management
- Understanding of integration solution software products is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint ; Visio experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Creative problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to analyze, simplify, and document complex business processes.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- High-level understanding of Investment Book of Record (IBOR) concepts.
- General understanding of General Ledger (GL) principles.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements within trading and investment operations .
- Exposure to regulatory reporting requirements relevant to financial markets.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum product development environment .
- Experience working with integration platforms, APIs, connectors, or financial-market technology solutions.
