Progressive Countertop is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our team in Strathroy, Ontario.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate CAD drawings from field measurements that will be used to program our CNC machinery for countertop fabrication. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, efficiency, communication, and an understanding of construction are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed and accurate CAD drawings based on field measurements.
- Review measurements and drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare CAD files for CNC machine programming and countertop fabrication.
- Communicate with customers, installers, sales staff, and production personnel by phone and email.
- Identify and resolve drawing or measurement issues before production.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Make revisions to drawings as required.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with the production and installation teams.

Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 3 years of AutoCAD experience required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.




- General construction knowledge is required.
- Knowledge of the kitchen and bath industry would be considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements and construction details.
- Comfortable communicating with customers and team members by phone and email.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation to and from our Strathroy location is required.
