Overview:

Founded in 1995, Acumen Capital Finance Partners Limited (Acumen) is a 100% employee-owned investment dealer based in Calgary, Alberta. We have an opening for an Associate to join our Capital Markets team for a co-op position from January to April 2027. There is a possibility of extending the position for an additional four months from May to August 2027.

Responsibilities:

- Gather company and industry information
- Create and maintain comps tables
- Create and maintain company valuation models, including M&A; analysis
- Assist with preparation of research reports and client presentations

Qualifications:

- Working towards undergraduate degree in finance or accounting or MBA
- Superior Excel modeling and Word skills




- A self starter with a strong work ethic and ability to take initiative
- Ability to multitask over different projects with a robust attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills
- Demonstrated interest in capital markets or prior capital markets work experience
