Duties

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in recreational activities to enhance mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe setting
- Support patients with mobility needs through proper lifting techniques and transfer assistance
- Document care provided, observe changes in health or behavior,



and communicate updates to healthcare professionals or family members

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance or transfers
- Strong organizational skills for medication administration and documentation
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Valid certifications in caregiving or nursing are a plus; willingness to obtain necessary training if not already certified
