Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to take care of a 99 year old man in relatively valuable health between the hours of 8am to 8pm, flexible schedule.

Duties

- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence within his own home.
- Prepare meals and ensure he takes his daily pills.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning living areas, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support patients with mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, and settling him down in the evening for bed, and assisting when he wakes up in the morning.
- Monitor health status by observing changes in condition,



reporting concerns promptly to family members.
- This individual has a good sense of humour, enjoys music and conversation, primarily naps and enjoys watching TV.

Qualifications

- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Previous experience in nursing, recreational therapy and/or the health sciences would be beneficial.
