Carpenter - Residential & Commercial Construction

Location: Edmonton, Alberta and surrounding areas

About Us

We are a growing general contracting company specializing in residential, commercial, and renovation construction projects throughout the Edmonton area. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of carpentry, maintenance, and general construction duties while contributing to a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

- Perform all aspects of rough and finish carpentry.
- Construct, install, repair, and maintain wood, steel, and composite structures.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Complete residential and commercial renovation projects.
- Install doors, windows, trim, cabinets, flooring, and other finish materials.
- Perform general building maintenance and repair work.
- Assist with framing, demolition, drywall, and other construction tasks as required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications
- Previous carpentry experience preferred.




- Knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices.
- Experience with general building maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and performing construction-related tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions when required.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass site-specific safety requirements.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
