About Us

Claymore is a construction company that takes pride in quality workmanship and a strong safety culture. We're looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our crew and help deliver projects done right, on time, and safely.

What You'll Do

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, and install framing, forms, trim, and other wood and building materials
- Build and install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, stairs, doors, and windows
- Operate hand and power tools safely and keep them in valuable working order
- Work closely with the site supervisor and other trades to keep projects on schedule
- Follow all site safety procedures and company policies, and take part in toolbox talks and safety inspections
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial construction
- 309A General Carpenter certification or Red Seal (preferred), or an apprentice ready to continue building skills
- Valid Working at Heights and WHMIS training (or willingness to obtain)
- Own hand tools and CSA-approved safety boots
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation




- Able to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and good communication skills
- Red Seal Certification preferred

Schedule: Monday to Friday-7:30AM to 3:30PM; Occasional overtime available
