Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpenter / Wood Production Worker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and finishing high-quality wood products, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of construction materials and tools, contributing to the creation of durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing wood structures.

The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and eager to develop their skills in carpentry and woodworking within a rapid-paced environment.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute woodworking projects.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble wood components.
- Construct frameworks, cabinetry, flooring, drywall installations, siding, roofing components, and other wood-based structures.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, tile laying, masonry work, and siding installation as needed for various projects.
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged wood structures or surfaces.
- Measure materials precisely using tape measures and other measuring devices; perform heavy lifting safely during material handling.
- Follow construction estimating procedures to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met while maintaining safety protocols at all times.

Skills





- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including framing, cabinetry installation, drywall finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, and siding application.
- Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, roofing tasks, plumbing basics, electrical experience, and construction painting.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, sanders), CNC machinery, and caulking guns.
- Ability to interpret schematics accurately for assembly or repair projects; familiarity with construction estimating is a plus.
- Prior handyman experience or construction experience that demonstrates versatility across multiple trades.
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks safely; excellent attention to detail in measuring and cutting materials.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to woodworking; ability to follow safety guidelines diligently.
