We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and reliable Level II Certified Dental Assistant to join our growing dental care team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality clinical support.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Level II Dental Assistant certification
- HARP Certified (required)
- Knowledge of dental software is an asset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team based setting
- Reliable, professional, and dedicated to excellent patient care
- Front Desk experience considered an asset
- Training will be provided

Key Responsibilities

- Help support the entire team throughout the day to keep the practice organized, efficient, and running on schedule.
- Assist with patient flow, room turnover, appointment preparation, and coordination between the clinical and administrative teams.
- Clean, disinfect, set up, and turn over dental operatories before and after patients according to practice protocols.
- Perform sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments while following infection control and safety guidelines.
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all instruments, materials, and equipment are clean and ready for procedures
- Assist the hygienist, denturist and dentist chairside during examinations,



restorative procedures, and other clinical treatments
- Take radiographs (HARP certification required)
- Record patient medical histories, treatment notes, and vital signs as directed by the hygienist, denturist or dentist.
- Provide suctioning, instrument passing, material mixing, and other direct clinical support
- Prepare dental materials such as impression materials, cements, and bonding agents
- Take impressions or digital scans (must be permitted by provincial regulations)
- Manage inventory and restock clinical supplies
- Assist with lab tasks such as pouring models, trimming, and sending lab cases
- Ensure operatories and sterilization areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Support emergency procedures when necessary
- Maintain professionalism, patient comfort, and confidentiality at all times

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 35-40 per week

Experience

- Dental Assisting: 3-5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
- Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with the Ontario Dental Assisting Association.
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant preferred.
- HARP certification (required)
