Overview

We are seeking a passionate and talented Chef for a contemporary wine bar. We believe a great dish, like a excellent wine needs the right environment and people. We are seeking a chef that believes in the ethos of collaboration, that great food doesn't have to be over-complicated, and believes in a respectful, collaborative environment.

As a key member of our team, you will craft exceptional dishes, oversee food preparation, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

- Lead a small kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation
- Work with the team to create menus that reflect our
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food handling, cooking, and sanitation practices
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and health regulations
- Manage inventory, order supplies,



and control food costs to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Train and mentor team members in food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and hospitality standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to coordinate service flow and enhance guest satisfaction

Experience

- Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
- Extensive food preparation and cooking expertise across various cuisines
- Strong background in food service operations within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Knowledge of restaurant management principles, including inventory control and staff scheduling
- Familiarity with food handling regulations, sanitation practices, and food safety protocols
