Job Summary

We are seeking a lively and engaging Christmas Character to bring holiday cheer to our community and festivities. The ideal candidate will embody the spirit of the season, creating memorable experiences for children and families alike. This role involves performing in costume, interacting with guests, and spreading joy.

A friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a passion for holiday traditions are essential for success in this position. Availability for Thursday and Friday evenings and weekends is required.

Responsibilities

- Dress in full costume as a Santa Christmas character, maintaining a cheerful and approachable appearance.
- Engage with children to enhance their holiday experience.
- Participate in photo sessions.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold the joyful spirit of the holiday season at all times during performances.
- Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure smooth execution of scheduled activities.

Experience

- Prior experience in public speaking, teaching,



or performing is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are most important.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse audiences of all ages.
- Ability to perform in costume comfortably for extended periods while engaging with guests.
- Excellent writing skills are a plus for creating scripts or storylines when needed.
- Experience in community events or entertainment roles will be considered an asset but is not mandatory. This role offers an exciting opportunity to spread holiday joy while developing your performance and public engagement skills in a festive environment.
