Job Overview The Engineering Technologist or technician serves as a key team member within INSITE. Working directly under the Senior Project Manager and Engineer, this person is responsible for preparing technical drawings while maintaining the company’s high standard of quality and integrity.

Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software tools.
- Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct site inspections during construction phases to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Support project management activities by coordinating tasks and tracking progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects,



electrical engineers and construction crews to facilitate seamless project execution.

Qualifications

- Have a minimum of 5 years working experience in the field of municipal infrastructure design and land development projects, including: lot grading design and earthworks, servicing for storm, sanitary, and water. and preparation of civil engineering design drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Is detail-oriented and possess problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure, prioritize, manage deadlines and multi-task.
- Have very strong work ethic, including accountability for tasks and teamwork.
- Possess interpersonal skills which foster positive environment.
